剧情介绍：
嘎子、大招，相依为命的两位亲兄弟，一个憨一个傻，分明就是一对活宝。弟弟嘎子性格冲动，常常好心办成坏事；哥哥大招有智力缺陷，却往往能弄巧成拙。日本侵略者血洗揦子村时，全体村民为掩护嘎子和大招，被残忍杀害。仓皇逃难的二人巧遇外甥“狗蛋”——八路军营长赵有亮。誓言为乡亲们报仇的兄弟俩，一心想加入八路军，却遭到赵有亮的拒绝。为了证明自己有能力成为合格的八路军战士，嘎子和大招抓到为寻找妹妹而逃脱国民军的猴子作为“投名状”。最终，他们各自在硝烟战火中历练、成长。
